Post by: tigers_gonads on 27 February 2022, 18:03:01
Since both myself and Mini Me now drive Honda’s, what’s the best laptop diagnostics software out there ?

The Autel Maxiscan tablets seems to be pretty well received. At a price. ;)

Autel also do a phone app based set up and a dongle to plug into diagnostic socket, you download a manufacturer of your choice in the initial price and can add more for more outlay,I use one for Saab as my Snap on scan tool doesn't cover Saab well, it works well and access to all modules

I've used similar dongles on mine, Carly on my bmw's and OBDEleven Pro on my Audi's, and they've done everything I've ever needed. The beauty is that it's always in my glovebox.  :y  My laptop battery lasts about two seconds so I can only use VagCom at home.

I keep a standard bluetooth dongle in the car, but as I've given up on Android again and gone back to iOS, I can't find a decent app ;D

So the Jag continues to use SDD via a laptop on the occasions my dodgy Mongoose lead decides its OK to play today, and the battlebus continues to use a Tech2.
