Title: Rear damper top mounts

Next on my list... I need some new mounts for the rear dampers. Cup washers, inner tubes, and the rubbers.

I know the rubbers are available for pennies - are the washers GM only... or can I get them elsewhere? Indeed, if anyone has a kit sat in their shed... :y

The proper mounting kit comes included with Sachs / Boge standard rear dampers. The washers can be reused, it's the rubber that degrades.

And as if by magic I've found my spares from just that setup.

Only bits I'm missing are the spacers, I'm inclined to find the measurements and get some generic ones :y

They are different saloon to estate, so be careful what you measure.

I did do a picture in the test pages about 8 years ago. Don't know if it made the guides section or not :-\

Found it. Basically, the Bush is the same length as the plastic Bush that forms the shock side of the top mount.

For the saloon this has a skirt on it. Also the washers are dished AWAY from the rubber bushes.  :y
