Chase is an American Bank.
Profits have obviously tanked so they're expanding the search for sub prime stupidity.
Don't buy anything financial or insurancy from a telly box ad or an unsolicited email. :y

Enough here to keep you going for a while, Skruntie. J P Morgan Chase are a very large bank in the US, and absolutely nothing to do with the sub prime market. 1% cash back on certain debit card transactions, and a linked savings account paying 1.5%. Very easy to get an account, providing you have the correct identification documents but, I believe, some people have had problems getting their system to upload them.

Revolut haven't got a banking licence in the UK, so no protection should they go bust. Chase, Monzo, Starling app based banks do have banking licences, so your money is protected up to £85,000.

My cousin used to work for Chase Manhattan , if it's the same bank they looked after him very well fabulous salary & a very good pension now retired to Miami.

I was being facetious ::)
Unfortunately sarcasm does not seem to convey very well in type :-X
Remember though, those shiney buildings and excellent salaries are paid for by retail customers.
I might also listen to alot of Dave Ramsey. But that's a separate conversation.

You weren't being facetious, you were being a know all, know fûck all.....again. Same old pattern: jump in, talk shite, make a limp excuse, post a few rolling eyes.

Yep pretty much. Chase Manhattan merged with JP Morgan to form JP Morgan Chase. They have a huge office complex in Bournemouth. :)

I realise the good Dr will disagree with me, but I've found credit cards to be a very effective tool and I consider my stupidity to be some of the finest available! :D Between consumer protection not afforded by debit cards and potentially generous bonuses they've served me well over the years. Using them as a form of borrowing however - not the best idea!
The chase card seems like not bad value in the current climate, as does the savings account.
-
Like any tool, Jimmy, there are those that can use them and those that can't. The S75 protection of a credit card can be valuable for peace of mind when making a purchase between £100 and £30,000, and a deposit of £1 can get you that protection.
Second hand car dealers don't like you paying a deposit with a credit card, I wonder why? ::)

Brilliant things credit cards , just a shame some folk have no financial acumen, why use your money when you can use theirs interest free.

It's precisely because some folk have no financial acumen that you (and I) can use their money rather than use our own.
