Title: how can they stay open ??
Post by: sir moanalot on 10 September 2008, 11:56:22
we have a local shop around our way and their prices are sky high, so at the end of each day they have endless items on "offer" i have said to the manager previously why he dosn't price to sell in the first place but it isn't sinking in.
so some days at 6 oclock i make it a point to turn up and buy my bread for 20p cakes for 30p and various other foodstuffs for next to nothing for freezing......... anything thay cannot sell ends up in a skip- which attracts some dubious people (quite funny really)
these independent sellers are cutting their own throats and i cannot see why? oh and by the way has anyone noticed how much a small box of maltesers has gone up ? was £1.29 to £2.24 amazing !! time to eat healthier....   ;D ;D

Its part of our rip off culture. Problem is when people take the piss with high prices we keep quiet about it.
