At last, I really have seen the car of my dreams that would more than satisfy me in 2022 onwards! :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*
I have always, since childhood, wanted a Bentley, but yesterday I saw on a local road a 2022 Bentley Bentayga V8. It was of course on a private plate, and retailed by Jack Barclay who had a Rolls Royce and Bentley dealership in Bromley Kent when I was in my teens. I certainly had road presence, in black and a real Bently chunk of expensive metal! 8) 8) 8) 8)
The glossy brochure, a must see!! - https://www.bentleymotors.com/en/models/bentayga/bentayga-s.html?cid=UK-M-22-CCM-ALWAYS-GOOG&utm_audience=Other&utm_author=phd&utm_campaign=evergreen&utm_content=alwaysonsearch2022&utm_date=010122&utm_funnel=act&utm_medium=cpc&utm_mediumtype=pd&utm_product=carsnewbentayga&utm_persona=all&utm_source=other&utm_value=na&gclid=CjwKCAjwtIaVBhBkEiwAsr7-cwS9XLwj95akDHt1gy2THda-hzUNP-QRxY7HbUPDhvD_o-mFgxbwvRoCBGYQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
...............and the MPG is on a par with my Omega!! :D :D :D
A snip at £179,600 I will have one of those one day............................well, a girl can still dream! ::) ::) ;D ;)

That should have been included in the ugly car thread. Yuk.
-
The Romanian owner of the car wash up the road has one, in gold of course. They must get through an awful lot of washes ;D

I appreciate that beauty is in the eye of the beholder but you’d have to be wearing some seriously thick lenses to like that. There is a Bentayga S parked in our High Street most nights. It has mahoosive wheels on it and somehow they’ve achieved a chavvy look on an expensive vehicle.
Still, it’s Lizzie’s dream car and proves we’re all different. :y
-
Is this the Bentley that looks remarkably like a black London taxi? ::) ::)
-
Just clicked on the link. :-X
Don't order it in black Lizzie of people will be constantly trying to flag you down. ::)
-
bloody awful looking car trumped only by RR's attempt at a SUV (Cullinan)
-
Just another pig in lipstick from VAG. Cheaper to get an Audi if that's your thing... :y

Yes, as a women I need a big car around me, and this one is chunky, heavy, gives street presence and is masculine, which means if I could ever afford a car like this, I would have a handsome, muscular, chauffeur drive me around in perfect comfort and luxury without fear 8) ;D ;)

Could you be tempted. :D

An Audi Q7 in a Marbella frock and about as much class.
-
No pretty cars, with the LEVC london cab front on them
-
There is one round here[with private plate]in dark blue. Not my kind of thing at all but if it floats your boat why not?
-
I have been looking at them on and off since they were launced and the only option I would go for is the Hybrid but not up morth of £200K
However, if I had won the lottery, and IF they did the Hybrid version, I would be looking at the 2022 Flying Spur. ::)

It would be parked in the heated garage next to a twin turbo 1000bhp Trans Am (Smokey % the bandit looka like) ::)
and a Lotus Carlton ::)

I thought you were going to say you saw an omega that had been stored for 20 years, in a air conditioned garage, with delivery mileage.

Exactly, and one women's / man's opinion on what is beautiful can be very different to what others think.
With cars, what modern car is truly "beautiful" anyway? All very similar in the family car zone, and the sports / muscle cars are very similar. Only the top end F1 based cars, like Ferrari's or Lamborghini's can look very good.
Personally I go back in motoring history for my idea of truly good looking cars like:
1909 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost
1930's Packard Eight
1960's Chevrolet Impala (the one with fantastic rear gull wings)
1960 Vauxhall Cresta PA
Now I know some / many will argue over these choices, but or me they are classics and are cars built when cars had individual character, and for me are very appealing, along with any Bentley no matter what year! :D :D ;)

Cresta pa was indeed lovely as was the mk3 Ford zodiac :y
-
I had a crystal in Starsky and Hutch livery. Well......not exactly red and white, more purple with a gold flash ;D

Some of us are old enough to have worked on them (Cresta) , now if I could just afford a 340 ta Dodge Challenger or a 440 six pack . One can dream----------

I had a friend in the early 1970's who's father had a pink and cream two tone one, which I just loved. :-* :-*
Even by then they were becoming rare as the rust took hold! :o

Two tone (yellow/white) Cresta was our wedding car on a sunny warm autumn day. Looked nearly as good as the bride. 8)
