Title: A/C pipes.
Post by: Mutha Jugs n Speed on 02 September 2022, 07:56:24
Quick question...can anyone tell me if there is a difference in the fitment between the A/C pipes on the 2.0 and the 2.2. TIA :y

For facelift cars, there shouldn't be as the system has the same layout.

The only variation is likely to be at the compressor on earlier cars.

Thanks Al, but I can confirm that the pipes for the 3.2 and possibly the rest of the V6 range are completely different to the 2.2 system and the 2.0....much learned through my cock up and financial loss in getting the wrong set refurbished :-[ I am trying to sell that set to a member on here that wants them for his 2.0, and I'm not confident that they are compatible with his car. :-\

I meant the 2.0/2.2 pipes ;)

The V6 compressor is in a different place, so it makes sense that they are different...  :y

I guess if he wants to take the risk, then I may well do the deal. If they are a correct fit then he should be happy with what I'm asking for them....which is only a small percentage of the total cost of the refurb. ::)
