 Silverstone acutions at this years NEC sold a Focus RS for £101,200 with the buyersd premium included :o

That Transit is repeatedly described as original, but in the same blurb it has been repainted.

Now I know I can be a bit contrary, but surely, if it has been repainted, then it cannot be original  :-\

I watched the Transit go through,have to say it was restored beautifully but that's a lot of brass.

There's a lot more of those than mk1 Transits, let alone ones that look that good.

They are an absolute bargain at the moment, keep telling SWMBO this but she hasn't weakened yet, I saw a lovely one earlier this week up for £23,000.

Agreed. Most were literally thrown together by people who had no interest in their job. Much the same applies to the E-Type in the sixties.

Not really restored, this is an ex German fire van converted from lhd. It would of been completely rust free to start with.
