Gig economy? Sub contractor? my son in law has the same scenario.

There's a reason that van manufacturers make them in all the basic colours.
The DHL livery is a few hundred quid at the local sign company. If they cheaped out by buying white rather than ordering yellow vans, then any saving will more than pay for the wrapping.
DHL pay them as a subcontracted business, so you could argue that DHL contributed to one more van than the had any reason to. ;)

Be a subcontractor rather the gig. Evri (parcel will be late/missing) and Amazon car drivers will be gig... Although they should be registered for self employment as they are required to have business use vehicle insurance :-X
