Why can’t the “friend” advertise and sell his own car?

Perhaps he doesn't want to jump through the hoops to register on eBay, and perhaps he is still using a Nokia 3310 :D
Just because it is 2022, doesn't mean that everyone is automatically on Faceachebook or is particularly Tech savvy.

Good, robust reliable phones, from an era where a mobile phone was just for making/receiving calls. :y The vibrating function was quite intense, so you could shove it up your girlfriends doodah and then ring the number from another phone. She had 56 missed calls one night. ;) ;D
