The top Civil Servant who led the partygate enquiry into Boris and his buddies, and ultimately brought about his downfall has resigned from her job.
She has resigned so she can take up a new job - Chief of staff to Kier Starmer. Basically to prepare him and his shadow cabinet for Government.
A conspiracy ? Nah, this is Britain. We dont have things like that happen here. ::)
Boris was still an idiot for putting himself in the position where they could bring him down though, just for the sake of a glass or two of fizz.

It stinks! ::)

And yet they think we know nothing about it ffs

I'm sure this is all just pure coincidence. ::)

The media reaction seems a bit muted, but what if the boot was on the other foot? ???
Can you imagine the hoo haa if a top civil servant quit to work for the Tories in the run up to a General Election? ::)

After having produced a report that brought down a Labour PM. It would be the end of the world for most of the MSM.

Hotline to Starmer while throwing Boris under the bus, to keep him informed? ::) ::) ::) ::)

Another interesting thing about this woman has emerged from the Tory MP Esther McVey.
Apparently when McVey was appointed Secretary of State for Work & Pensions in 2018, a new DWP Finance Director General was appointed not long after as well, one Nicholas Joicey.
Joicey's wife Rachel goes by her maiden name Reeves. Yup Rachel Reeves the Labour MP currently the Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer, who in 2018 just happened to be the Shadow Secretary of State for Work & Pensions! :-X
McVey has said that she queried Joicey's appointment with Sue Gray then Director General of the Propriety & Ethics unit in the Cabinet Office on the grounds that Joicey's appointment was inappropriate due to his marriage to Reeves and requested someone else be appointed instead. Apparently, Gray rejected any idea of conflict of interest or inappropriateness and also rejected McVey's request for someone different.
Incidentally, Sue Gray's son, one Liam Conlon is Chaiirman of the Labour Party Irish Society.....
