Title: Never seen one of them before.
Post by: Rangie on 19 March 2023, 15:24:05
Just got in after a long sunny walk with the dog, on the way back a large black SUV went hammering past us first glance I thought it was a Porsche with a pig ugly rear end but then I caught site of the logo on the tailgate Aston Martin ! How can a maker of such iconic cars produce something so hideous?

Yes it's certainly quick! The front end looks like a Ford Focus in the pics still don't like it though.

Some manufacturers seem to delight in making their cars excessively ugly.

The Mini Country is ugly as hell and the size of a beached whale.

You'd think the word 'Mini' would have given the designers a clue as to how big they make it.

RR Cullinan, makes the bentley look like Megan Fox.

I'm not at all sold on the AM DBX, as mentioned, the front looks like a ford focus (only uglier) and the back looks like a kia milk float.

The Bentley isn't that bad, and fast SUVs are exactly what Bentleys would have evolved into. Rolls Royce's Cullinan is the same idea, but with RR's inherent vulgarity turned up a bit.

As for ugly, Google for pictures of BMW's new XM. You will want to ensure you have a pointed object near by.

Bmw have excelled by designing a vehicle that looks hideous from all angles. They lost the plot design wise a few years back but this takes it to an all time low. I can only hope that the designer of the XM soon recovers from his mental illness and is never allowed near a sketch pad ever again.

The designer has probably never seen one.  ;D

I expect he just pressed the Auto button on his CAD software and went out for lunch, came back and thought That'll do.  >:D

I think the last good looking cars bmw made were the i3 & i8. Its been firmly downhill from there.

Bit early to be that drunk :D

The 5 series has always been a good looking car... Except the '03-'10 E60/61 obviously.

Doesn’t matter if we're talking saloon or estate either  8)

It's more likely he drew it with the three crayons he didn't eat for lunch.
