I hope you all enjoyed your Easter egg hunts after church this morning, and are now feeling sick as dogs from all the chocolate you've eaten! :)

Cheers Tig :y

Errrr....I should hang my head in shame and I ask for forgiveness. :)

Been out to Easter Procession today. Carrying an incredibly heavy religious icon around the streets. Penitents in tow. All a sight to behold. Then parties with all the family ( three or four generations)
Happy Easter to one and all!

Self flagellation is quite popular in some parts at Easter I believe? ??? :)

A run of five nightshifts for me, so no happy holiday weekend or any of that nonsense. ;D

We're having a break in North Yorkshire, I don't think anybody noticed Easter. Good :)

Was in Valencia on a short break and it coincided with a religious festival. Was certainly a sight to behold. Good excuse for a piss up too. ;D

I have to say I liked the shops being shut yesterday.
Roads were dead quiet.
No point in thinking "we haven't got . . . ." or " I Need . . . ."
Just chill and have a good meal, and just possibly a decent bottle of wine
All after getting back from Church of course . . . . ::)
We seem to be missing serious down-time in this country, apart from Christmas Day & Easter Sunday. I quite like Sundays in France, almost all retail outlets shut, apart from Boulangeries in the morning and restaurants for lunch.
