Firstly, we've got a (hopefully) shagged battery on the UPS that supports the OOF servers, so running with battery disconnected, so fingers crossed that the usual Brakkers power cuts stay away today.
Got 2 parcels coming from UPS (the courier), both from The Netherlands. One is an ebay seller who should have posted last week, but clearly ebay bone idleness kicked in, and other is from DJI who are normally quite slick. Both parcels appear to have stopped tracking somewhere in Holland.

Must be one of those weeks. I also have UPS issues (Along with all the other ongoing crap)
Mine is a battery backup to my reclineing chair (Being in a rural area we never know when the next power outage is) and was bought a few years ago now. Any ways during a power outage I realised the chair would not function and whilst trying the UPS emitted a constant annoying beep.
Since then I disconected the Battery unit and left it to die - but it didnt want to go quietly. I took it apart, its just 2 12v batterys with a circuit board.and the in/out cables connected.
Am I right in thinking the most likely part to fail are the batterys, if so they are RS units and easily sourced. At this point I only disconnected one battery and the buzzer sopped so now I dont need ear plugs. ::)

Test and charge your chair batteries
also ,there maybe a RESET button on the PCB ;)
and RS components are not cheap suppliers :o
your batteries are probably something like THESE clicky (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191672674913)
2 x 12 volt ,to make 24v for the chair

UPS failures are normally batteries. I think most UPS' rate the batteries for 2 years, due to heat.
My batteries have just arrived from Tayna, and currently plugged in and charging up, no more beeping :). Or 2 emails every minute from the UPS to say it's miffed about the batts.
As DtB says, small (sub about 2000VA) UPS batts are common and cheap. Frequently used in mobility scooters etc. Just ensure physical size, terminals and voltage are correct. Most are 24V made up of 2 x 12V, obviously.

They are bigger height wise. Mine are longer and flatter, prced from £12 each, but not really looked into replacecments yet with everything else thats going on.

This is the other common size, but there are 2 different terminal types....

Standard MP2.3-12 battery as used in many house alarms, available in loads of places (including the likes of Toolstation).
Being a fan of Tayna batteries, I would be buying from them

So UPS was sorted a couple of days ago, with new batts.
UPS clearly found the missing packages, retrieved them from the canal, and got them to me. I'm now the proud owner of some gearbox bits for the Big Black Pussy and a repaired DJI finest....
