All the (utterly useless) rat poison seems to have given his coat a nice sheen. >:D

I made the cardboard cage so there is only one entry point. Without this they set the trap off from the back or side, and then eat the peanut butter at their leisure. :D

Rodents are a problem in Spain forcars especially rural properties like ours.
Our VW dealer spotted some very minor gnawing marks and recommended packing spaces with polystyrene from product packaging. Had some reservations and avoided hot areas and moving parts. Took it to a different garage for its next service and they all vanished.
I can just imagine their lunchtime-conversation.
We spend a fortune on bait ( most of which doesnt work or only works when fresh and have a selection of traps……..

I tend to agree. I reckon Jerry mouse noshed 10 times his weight in poison and it seems to have had SFA effect. :-X

Hey Pedro, Did you say that you needed some polystyrene to stop the mice in your car? That Golf over there has loads, just take a bit they won't miss it. They're English, they won't know what its for. ::)

You've probably been riding around with a whole family of mice and you've just killed the breadwinner. :(
Next week those baby mice will be delinquent teenage mice with a grudge against the bloke that killed their Dad! :o ::) ;D

Caught another today.......same colour only much smaller.

if that was mum and dad mouse , the off-spring are probably setting up shop in his Vectra seats :(

Just attach a hose from the exhaust to the cabin air intake and leave it running for a couple of days. That should sort it out.

I have an intellectual supermouse under my bonnet. He/they know that if they go through the front of the trap they will meet their end. So now they burrow in from the back and steal all the bait ( which does absolutely SFA) without springing the trap.
Clever little bastards. :-\

I'm now making new a new surround cage out of an old (metal) Quality Street tin. If they want the bait they won't be able to gnaw through that. :)
