Title: Merry Christmas

Both of my children and their families will be here on Christmas Day so I may have to turn my hearing aids off due to noisy kids and cut the power to my electric recliners so the Grandchildren can’t use them as springboards. ;D

Highlight of the day has to be accidentally getting bro in law to shout, and I apologise for this, the phrase "bollock porridge" while in a lounge full of various relatives, most of whom are from the higher echelons of society than I. MrsGK and I found it hilarious. My mother... Less impressed.

IKR ;D apparently one girl forgot her passport :o

Visited Hazendal, very nice but a bit showy; and Mooiplaas which was a bit off the beaten track but much better for it 8)

Had a late Christmas Day lunch at The Bungalow in Clifton, if you know the area...

Franschoek is worth a visit next time if you like your wine. They have a little train that takes you round all the wineries.

My recollections beyond that might be a little hazy. ;)
