No not the tyres, but Michael. The mad heads are back on the IoM for the TT races. Racing proper[as opposed to practice/qualifying]started yesterday and in the opening Supersport race he took the win to finally equal his uncle Joeys record of 26 wins. With the rest of the week to go he's likely to set a new record although of course anything can happen on the island.

And very nearly come off doing it too👍 bloody madmen the lot of them🤣🤣👍

I hope nobody accidentally lets the dog out.

I never want to see Joeys record beaten. Ive always hope it would stand forever.
If it has to go though, who better than Michael.
How the lad does it after losing his Uncle, Dad and brother to road racing I will never be able to fathom.

Do they wear a stoma bag, which is full when they finish?

Being young and leak free I needed to Google this. :)

Don't fancy being a sidecar passenger , just so scary :o

Well, the record has gone. :(
I would like to see young Michael do the sensible thing now and retire. He has nothing left to prove to anyone.
The roads have taken his Uncle, Dad and brother. He is the last one left.
I somehow doubt he will though. ::)

He is 35.
I believe Joey won his last TT when almost 50.
MD could go on for another 10 years or more.

Yep, Joey was 48 when he cleaned up in 2000.
I well remember Carl Fogarty saying at the time that he should now retire as it would be terrible if he carried on and hurt himself.
He died 6 weeks later. :'(

My guess is that MD will let fate decide.
If it's his destiny to die doing what he loves most then so be it. Of course I could be 100% wrong and he retires tomorrow. :)

I don’t think he will stop it’s like an addiction he loves it and knows fully well the risks, but I hope he can leave it there now and settle down to marvel at what him and the rest of his family has achieved. He deserves it.
