Title: V6 cam cover gaskets
Post by: MonzaGSE on 06 June 2024, 14:48:08: Got a mot failure regarding leaking from cam cover gaskets. According to the local Opel dealer here in Norway they now only come with cam covers. The gasket alone is no longer available. The price for covers with gaskets was around 7.000,- nok or 520 gbp. Are aftermarket gaskets the only viable option now?

If not, it'll have to be pattern, but most seem to be quite hard, and tend to fail earlier.

Post by: sjc on 07 June 2024, 11:20:09: All the sets I bought from VX dealer were Victor Reinz branded in GM packaging. Set 15-34268-02 still readily available for very reasonable cost.
