anybody had a call claiming that you owe back taxes & there is a warrant out for your immediate arrest. ?
-
Nope, but that's not to say it doesn't stink of some really scammy bs.
-
Yes bullshit ignore it
-
Scam, as far as I am aware the Tax Office never rings anyone.
-
Not had one for many years now, but as said previously the tax office wouldn't contact you by phone.
-
No it can't be HMRC as they are all busy
tending their allotments/walking the dog etc working from home. :)

That’s hilarious. ;D ;D I feel I’m missing out by never getting these type of calls. ::) Is this on your landline or mobile? Not many in our family have a landline now and our mobile phones just receive a text saying ‘suspected spam call blocked’. :y

.
Yes we got rid of our landline about 2 months ago, too many Indian men calling & telling us about problems on our computer ( we don't have one incidentally) they seemed offended when I told them what they could do with their advice

I had "a call from HMRC" last week, after not having had one for a couple of years.
Inhung up before they mentioned being arrested. :)

I had one a few months ago stating that I had a tax rebate of £8000! Just send your bank details to "us" and we will pay in your rebate to your chosen bank account!
Thats funny I thought! ::) I have not worked nor paid tax in the UK since 1988!
"f*ck off" I uttered, and he did.. >:( >:( Result! Forget it raywilb. :y
