I have a problem with the starter engine,
when transmission is in position N .
the engine does not start,
if I don't push him towards position D.
where is the start button and how is it set up ?

Pretty certain the start inhibitor circuit goes through the "range switch", also known as the selector switch, which is bolted on the side of the gearbox by 2 screws. Do the LED's by the side of the gear level light up correctly, ie, does that panel show the car is in N?

Mine sometimes does this in 'N' have to wiggle the lever a slight way back and forward occasionally for it to crank.

Yes , light N , but not starting

I get this every now and then. A bit scary at first when you don’t know what it is and you just get a ’clunk’, when turning the key, but as just said, moving the selector back and forth sorted it.
If my current problems get resolved I might do the selector clean as described on the forum.

Was going to be my suggestion, I've never owned an auto Omega but I've seen the guide referenced before.
