If you're an old Astra fan have a look at the one on their website.

That's in very good nick and quite cheap, I think.

.
It's been reduced by £1500 I believe, cheap way in if you fancy attending car shows next summer.

The blurb says that the interior is like brand new. The rear seats look quite rippled on the backrests so hardly 'like new'. Quite a discount considering it was supposed to be 'just arrived'.

CDi is the trim ;D
It's a 1.4 8v petrol ;)
As for the seats, whomever valeted it over did it hence the state of the fabric.

I had an identical 1992 1.4 Astra CD in 1995, followed by a 1993 1.6 GLS the following year. Great cars in their day - comfortable, but the 1.6 engine was the better to drive of the two.
Incidentally in 1992 the model was a CD, not a CDi. Only the engines were designated with an 'i' after the engine size (1.4 /1.6).
Seems like the salesman completing the original sales invoice is not the only person to get their facts wrong.. :y

Just about the least desirable Astra ever manufactured.
Personally I'd go for a MK2 GTE 2.0 16V with 150 BHP. Plenty quick for it's day.....or even now.

Nice early mk3 cav. Need to spruce up my 1.8ls and the diplomat I have in garage looking at the prices they're going for - plus also maybe a crook lock!
