Booked Wheels in Motion for Friday :D
Already got the idler arm, but want to double check this is right for the drop links?

These are the bits which slot into the wishbone? - and the bit i moved with a bar when underneath too see play in them?
The wishbones themselves look ok....
-
Mine looked ok
When had it on ramp found out they were shot.
Don't forget to soak the track rod adjusters with plus gas or WD40
front & back make Tony's job easier

re wishbones, put a lever (jemmy/ big screwdriver) in between the front bush and the body and see how much play there is. If it moves a bit but there is a fair amount of resistance they are probably be ok. If they are easy to move / feel loose etc then you'll need to replace them (first thing WIM will do). About 15 out of 17 cars at the WIM open day had knackered bushes...

I am getting confused, the bushes are the droplinks? As per the link i gave above?
:-/ :-/ :-[

Not sure about the droplinks tunnie - I have never done those (although they looked ok to me).
It was the wishbone bushes that I was referring to. You can't tell by sight, and certainly not when they are on the car.
-
That is they.... Mark DTM advised FAI branded ones if you can, there's another place on ebay that do them, had mine from them,,, think it was Vauxspares..

just ordered from Vx Spares, £50 pair delivered.
Thanks guys, look forward to trotting down there, he mentioned a DB7 was booked ahead of me :D
So i might have a wait, what a shame, have to drowl over it ::)

Best of luck with the drop links mate. Never done Mig ones but on Carltons they do a world of good.
WIM Booked, thought there was another one when i've recently been told there is'nt.... :(

When I had my full geometry at WIM it was up on the ramp for 5 minutes - front tracking was the only adjustment.
-
Well worth checking the wishbone bushes before you go. If you haven't changed them yet, going by the odds at the WIM open day, the chances are it'll be a wasted journey if you don't!

I had mine done last Saturday. It was in a bad way. It took them an hour to get it right.
Fantastic job though. I can now go round LH bends without the fear of dieing...which is nice.
