Fortunately I kept the original that I took off a couple of years ago, though its gone a little hard.

Nice easy fix then, and cheap enough if you have to order a new one.  :y
When she had her allotment we used to leave an old Quantum mower in the shed. One day I got the mower out and mice had completely eaten the primer bulb and fuel line.  ::) ;D

I don't really cut my lawn, i just decapitate the zillions of weeds.  :D Living on an open plan estate, why worry. See the neighbours with their scarifiers, weed'n feed, patch repair etc. and think, fark all that malarkey.  ;D

Buggered if I can see any hole in the old one, and it holds water when filled.  Presumable its the tiniest pinprick that only opens under pressure.

I'll get another spare, just so I have one in stock, given they are stupidly cheap.

More chance of pulling your foreskin up over your head to keep your ears warm.

In the time it took me to fix the thing and cut both lawns, the woman over the road had only managed her front lawn with her stupid, useless electric that couldn't handle grass longer than half a mm....

I must admit, since switching to the dilapidated Atco, I can cut both lawns in less time than getting the extension cable setup and then moved from the front to back of the house.  :y
