Title: Plod spec engine bay fuse box?
Post by: GastronomicKleptomaniac on 22 May 2025, 21:22:03
As ever I am concentrating on the important things while the car has no engine, interior, or running gear.

While repairing some wiring where the plod kit had been soldered in originally... Noticed that the front panel of the fusebox was a separate piece. Like the nose plate had clips around it so it could be removed which has made it a piece of cake to unwrap and sort the looms.

The other one is currently elsewhere so I can't just go and check - I'm not going mad, this is an unusual type of fusebox... Right?

Yes I live a deeply interesting life. Shush.

The factory fuse panels under the dash are secured by two clips and two slotted hinges retained with screws. So probably normal  :y

The front end of the engine bay fuse box slides out vertically. If that's what you mean then that's also normal  :y

How have I never noticed that on the others.

What the bloody hell is wrong with me.

Actually let's not open that can of worms.

Ta DG!
