Title: Centre tie rod availability
Post by: GastronomicKleptomaniac on 09 June 2025, 11:50:06
Half help, half PSA... It appears that nobody makes the centre tie rods for RHD Omegas any more. Part number 90510648.

I thought I'd found someone selling them (made by a company called ABS) but it's a mistake in the listing and when they checked its for LHD.

If anyone hs any idea where I might be able to get one new, before I find a breaker...that would be handy... Since I ended up cutting the old rusty mess of the old one off the project. Abroad is fine, I've got a lot to do on the car...

Autodoc, my now favourite Omega parts supplier, does these:

https://www.autodoc.co.uk/spares-search?makerId=117&modelId=1930&carId=15830&keyword=90510648.

The quality of their parts is usually excellent.

Hope it helps. :D ;)

Do you know I love Autodoc and have used them in the past but at the moment they're all showing out of stock, which is irritating.

I may have found one through a motor factors in Exeter, if not I have also found the same part listed at twice the price from another site. I shall report back!

Now that sounds like a good idea, drop me a PM? :y

Funny enough I have been using the fuel and steering pipe clips you sent me years ago IIRC

That's weird, when I click it says "notify availability" rather than "add to basket" :/
