I've decided to recommission my '99 Omega 2.0 X20XEV .
I have to replace the original clutch as the bite point is almost at the end of the pedal travel even after bleeding the system several times .
The clutch size according to Haynes manual and most search engines that I have used show it to be 215mm dia with 14 teeth.
This is proving to be difficult to locate .
Kits sized at 220mm dia seem to be freely available but according to Haynes manual this size is for the larger engined models .
My question is will the 220 mm diameter clutch fit the X20XEV flywheel ?
Thanks .

Is there no one that can help with this? :-\

Uhhhh....Thanks Steve , you're like a big brother ........
What a pita this is ...
Decided to recommission the Omega and enjoy it again before I get too old ....
The 215 dia clutch is proving to be very difficult to find at a price that is (even) reasonable . I just don't want to get the 220 mm version and find that it doesn't fit when it's all in bits .
Anyway , hope you're well . :y and thanks for the help.

Autodoc list a Sachs Clutch Kit in 215 with 14 teeth, but whether it’s actually available I couldn’t say. Might be worth contacting them. :-\ It depends what sort of figure is considered reasonable I suppose.

I bought it yesterday along with a central slave cylinder and a timing belt and water pump kit .
Paid via PP and got a refund today for the clutch kit . They say that even though one shows as being in stock they have checked and there is none .
I sent them the VIN to see if they any others to suit and they came back with a 215mm plate and a selection of three pressure plates all of different manufacturer from the plate and no way of determining from the description if the PP dia was sized to suit the plate .
I don't want to have to mix and match .
I also contacted my local GM MD and they offered me three different clutch plates but no pressure plate was available .
The clutch plates were of different sizes but they could not tell me what was what .
I've found one in UK and am awaiting reply to see if they can confirm it is correct even though the description says so . The reason for this is that they do not take returns and that's a risk .
Buying from UK is a royal pia as the cost goes through the roof due to import taxes into Rep of Ireland .
Ho hum .... we'll get there .
Thanks for taking time to check for me . :y
