Afternoon all,
My NCDC 2013 wont store the date, I've managed to get the time roughly correct, however the date still thinks its some date in 2006.
I've read elsewhere its an issue with the NCDC unit itself rather than the colour display.
I have tried to see if there is a way of telling it the date in "My Naff Code Reader", however no such luck.
Anyone know of a way to correct this?

So its not updating the date manually (same place you change the time)?
I've seen oddities on the NCDC/NCDR where the flash is corrupt. Refreshing the firmware can resolve it most of the time in my experience.

Yes, you change it manually, but when you store the time and date you want, its clicks back to something/something/2006.
How can i refresh the firmware?

Does it not sort itself out if you stick it on Radio 2 :-\

One of mine is the same. I just set the time right and left the date.

Wishful thinking then :D

Mine doesnt automatically change when the clocks go back / forward, even if I put up with radio 2 ,so I just do it manually.
It also reverts to 2006 if I disconnect the battery.
I just assume its over 20 years old and isnt going to be perfect.

Want to try a firmware flash, next time you're passing, see if it resolves it?
Give me plenty of notice, as chrisgixer has my Tech2 I think. Either that, or I've put it somewhere safe, lol.

Its a tech2 job, sadly.
