i have a Citroen C4 cactus 1.5 Spacesaver flair . whenever I try to order anything from a motor factors and I type in the Reg number all product such as oil air filters etc come back as no information ,. Im guessing Citroen from 2018 have made it difficult to obtain info in order to try Citroen owners to use their workshop. At the moment I am driving around with a big orange warning telling me there is an emission issue & i have a limited mileage before the engine will not start . my diagnostic which is an Tomdom Artiliink 600 & even that will not give me any info.
I live in a village near Thirsk & whenever we get a prolonged bout of rain no matter which way out I drive I have to drive through about 9inch depth of rainwater . i am wondering if water ingress has damaged the nox sensor.

If you think it's an Adblue fault, would it be worth enquiring about having the system mapped out. Adblue pumps, heaters etc. are bloody expensive, but you wouldn't have to worry about Adblue anymore. **

Where's the innocently whistling smiley when you need it. :)

Think my grandland must have had it coded out (before I bought it, of course). Wifeys asks for Adblue every few months, and starts the countdown. I've had mine since May and it's always stayed on 1700 miles (the max).
Maybe I should get it checked out?

Earlier Citroens had another type of DEF, not Ad Blue, that requires the tank refilling every 60k or so, and is often an involved job. At least the Ad Blue setup on most cars is easy, even if the concept is flawed.

I believe the Cactus 1.5 has a 17 litre Adblue tank under the boot floor, which can be topped up by the traditional method of Adblue, but I may be wrong. :-\
I do recall the earlier type of DEF being different. :y
