Title: Thermostat stuck open maybe?

Hello guys, my Omega developed strange temp gauge behaving few days ago. Temp raises from cold start without a problem, holds steady 85 deg as always on motorway for entire trip to work - 45 miles long and even when I stop at red light when I arrive into town. But when I take off from stop, twmp gaige drops a few degrees and then comes back to 85. Wayer pump was done a year and a half ago, together with belts and pulleys.
