An Omega Elite. Not worried about what year it is. Must be in good condition bodywise, and have clean leather interior. Any colour leather is fine as long as it's clean. Must be a 3.0, and Auto. Climate control would be nice but not essential.
Engine wise/mileage, I'm not so worried, as long as it's not been to the moon and back. If it's got a few non-terminal issues, or needs cambelt change/servicing etc that's fine.
Not looking to pay big money, but don't expect to get it for nothing either.
If anyone knows of anything suitable, please let me know ;D

Only problem being, they end before I can get up there to view them.
Wouldn't buy a car unseen.....

I have. In fact, Tunnie and I were in a bidding war for it (without us knowing) - first we knew was when I asked him for a hand to pick it up!

I bought my last four off ebay unseen. Its quite safe. I never pay a 'non-returnable' deposit, so when I turn up, if the car is not as described, then I walk.

That was funny, and when the sellers wife mentioned "ohh someone else from brackley was interested in it to"
I depends what your plans are for the car James, i have bought 2 cars without viewing them off ebay. One was a jem, the other a wreck. TB's one was a little jem too, brand new exhaust and fairly new tyres..
Is it a car for your personal use or another project m8?

Yeah, but that 'other person from Brackley' offer £25 less than me, so lost out on a bargain ::)

My mum was not too keen on me getting that car, since i already had a project on the go...
Hoping another one like that will pop up some time next June ish

I've got a car that runs, so to be honest I'd be more than happy with a 3.0 Elite project for myself. Wouldn't mind doing any engine work such as rebuilding heads - but with a view to me keeping it for my own car at the end!
I've never done a project to make money, just for fun and to learn...

Although, I must admit I have bought a couple of late Rover 400 series cars with K series engines as spares/repairs (blown head gaskets) - slapped new gaskets + timing belt kits in them (afternoons work on them) and made a healthy £600 profit on each.
Quick turnaround too ;D

You are a busy chap aren't you mate.

I am, which is why I don't have much more time to spend tracing electrical crap on a 2.0 N reg ;D
