is a very elderly Peugeot 205 Diesel. Actually, it's for my son. I've just spent a small fortune on getting it roadworthy and safe for my baby boy to drive.
One of the the door speakers has packed up, though, and I don't know how to fix it. We've traced the problem to a broken wire, but I'm at a loss as to how to proceed. It's sheared off at the plug which connects the door wiring to the body of the car. Thanks to what looks like an earlier bodged repair, there's no metal protruding from the moulded plug, so soldering is out. Anyone know if this is a standard part I'd be able to get from a dealer? I haven't got time to go to a breaker, as he's off to universioty tomorrow.
There doesn't seem to be a 205 owners forum - just a club with a pathetic website. >:(
