They did a top job on the alignment, but i forgot to ask them to ballance the wheels.
80+ through to 90, i get vibration through the seat, slow down below 80 and it goes away...
I suspect rear ballencing is off...
So rang them up, they said i can pop down on Saturday and pop them on the machine to check them :)

I'm over the moon with the job they did on my alignment! I still have a slight pull but am putting that down to the uneven tyre wear. Tony has said that if it's still there after I have the tyres changed I can pop back :y :y :y

I have the same problem as Tunnie, they dont seem too bad, but there is still a vibration that starts arround the same speed. ::)
Just wish they had a WIM in the South Yorkshire area. :-/ :-/

Yep...
I could use a local monkey firm, BUT if i go to WIM, i know its done right!
just under 40 miles each way, its an easy drive.

For geometry I would definately agree go to Wim - but any decent tyre outfit should be able to balance a wheel :-/
You're right though - if they're prepared to do it and you're that close....... :y

To be fair last time i had it done, was at Vauxhall, and the vibration went, but its been slowly comming back.
There are a couple of local places, but i am prepared to drive there for a job i know is done right.
Its quite a nice drive too!

Would be tempted to find out if the wheel was deformed in any way. Dont know how accurately they can tell with the tyre on. Might be worth the extra to remove and refit tyre and double check everything for the sake of an 80 mile trip. :y

Hopefully tony will be there....
Father tunnies had 4 new tyres on when he was at WIM, his is smooth at 100+ (on track) mine is smooth until 80.
very minor vibration through the wheel, mainly the seat.
I will report back how it goes :y

I suspect thats a buckled wheel tunnie......balancing vibration usually occurs at less speed.....Ive had that before at 80mph.....vibration.....was a buckled back wheel.....luckily it was on my VeccyC (steel wheels) so was only £40 for a new steel from vx.

some outfits seem to struggle to balance omega wheels...
