Title: Beastie progress report.
Post by: amigov6 on 24 September 2008, 22:04:22
Full custom made stainless decat system now fitted (you have to hear it) but no motorway boom, she only barks if you want her to, not a tacky bolt on job. Leather Recaro seats & full bose sounds fitted by Markey Mark. The Bose is a sympathetic VX upgrade in keeping with the dash fitting/display etc. as are the leather recaros. Black Elite leather door cards from MutantCav, (cheers Chris)
Lastly Broocie sold me the car with better tyres than mine but i wanted to keep my rims, so into my local firm who do our truck tyres, car on 4 jacks, Broocies goodyear eagles on my MV6 rims & my rubber on his rims as a spare set, all 4 balanced, tracking checked but ok to within 1/2 a ml. so no need to adjust.
Total cost...£30 cash no questions. 8-)

Hi Cem. How are you? Will post some piccies tomorrow afternoon in Gen chat.Look for "Just for you Lizzie" & you'll see them mate.
Busy day tomorrow. Got to go to work tomorrow morning (on a day off but earns me some Brownie points) then spend half a day doing what i thought i had a whole day to do, ie collect & fit door cards, wash & wax the beastie, dress blacks & tyres & cook a bucket of curry in batches for the York meet.
Fitted new bigger OOF stickers front & rear today...peachy!!! ::)

Hi Tony. The 2.5 has a new loving home within the forum so you hav'nt seen the last of her by any means. She now resides in Sunderland & will be visiting this weekends York meet under the loving care of her new owner, Kate who adores her so i'll be posting piccies of both my favourite Migs when i get home on Sunday.
Not too late for you to turn up even if only a day visit!

    Regards, Guy. :y
