Use Vodafone on contract £15 a month for thier 3gb allowance, good thing is they dont charge you if you go over, not bad for HSDPA gets about 2 meg speed on average, never managed to get thier 7.2 meg speed yet. even sitting under one of thier Masts.
Also use T Mobile PAYG 3g on a add hoc basis in the PDA, £2.50 for 6 Day bundle (text web to 441), and they some times give you 5 Days free web when you top up £5, also totally unlimited, but because its PAYG even at HSDPA signal its limited to 3G speeds.
Tried 3 on thier HSDPA (Turbo Network) works ok at HSDPA (about 2 Meg speed) but bloodly frightning if you go over the limit, they charge £1 per Meg!, not worth taken the chance.

I've been using Vodaphone 3G for work for nearly 2 years now, they pay £20 a month for unlimited usage, i am on it from just after 7am till about 4pm 5 days a week and give it a good hammering and barely get to 2gb of downloads!
Its great in London and some surrounding areas, but if theres no 3G signal then its not worht bothering with.
It does 'trip out' of the VPN fairly often, and can be a bugger sometimes.
There are issues with Vodaphone and the services often goes boobs up, i got the hump with this as i needed to send some urgent e-mails so i popped to the Carphonewhorehouse and bought the 3 PAYG, £10 a month for 1gb limit, and again in 3G area its fine, also it doesn't trip out like Vodaphone does, but this could be due to 'users' on the network.
Basically if you have 3G signal then it is as fast as any fixed line broadband i've used :)
*edited to add*
I've also recently got a 3G iPhone and can confirm the same issues with O2 3G service as the other two :)
I cannot vote as it won't let me do multi option.

Ive only got the cheap package because I don't use it that much.
