should add was going to get an iPhone, but because apple are being n00bs and restricting any add-ons or discounts, i have been an O2 customer for 7.5 years and they are offering me nothing off it, or extras.

Made me look else ware, and that HTC is looking better! Ripe for Google Android.  :)

o2 do not control the iPhone contracts, Apple do. Hence, you'll get nothing out of o2.

Agree, as a simple phone, way too big.

As an all-in-one type device, I could live with size - its similar size to my current Windows phone.  And the keyboard is very useful to have, not just for internet/email, but also texting.  Being older than 15 (just ::)), texting the old fashioned way is too hard.  I've never sent so many texts since I've had a keyboard on a phone ;D

Only thing it's lacking is IR.
Always fun changing the channel on the sky box in the pub when the saddos are watching football.  ;D ;D

just called up about it, not in stock yet, expected in a couple of weeks.

But i can get it for free :)

On my current contract (750 mins, 1k texts) + unlimited data. which i pay £30 a month for at the moment.

Although i never use those txts any more, (i did when i had a SWMBO) its always nice to have.

'kin' 'ell :o

Across the 2 phones I pay for, I get 'enough' minutes and 'enough' texts (no idea how many, but we never go over bundled, and o2 pay me around £15 per month.....

....shame that contract is nearly up!

I only just seen this thread, I have the Touch Diamond which is the same but without the keyboard and card slot. Once the latest ROM is installed 1.93. which the o2 ones should come with it works well. Wouldn't have an iPhone if you paid me!! If you can get on with Windows Mobile ok! cos not everyone can, you'll love it. Get on XDA-Developers.com and you'll have no end of apps to play with. You can even use them as an Air Mouse on the PC (like the £80 Logitech thingy you can buy) like I am right now.
