I'm fine on the laptop but my main PC goes through my 27" LCDTV and that's pretty close to my eyesight limit.
Cleartype works great at improving readability of text and works really well for me. (You need to be running Windows and to be using IE - Firefox didn't work for me)
ClearType Tuner clicky (http://www.microsoft.com/typography/cleartype/tuner/Step1.aspx)

Maybe its because the tv's pixels are bigger, and thus the text will be more blured.
Does your tv say what its native res is? and can you set your computer to that res? Should sharpen things up a bit then! :y
PS: Ive made it bigger so you can read it! ;D ;D ;D ;D

If you can, try changing the background colour to Yellow. Black text on Yellow is the easiest to read for those with a visual impairment. :)

Ha ha. Cheers Ian. :y
Yes, got TV and PC both on 1360 x 768. Eyes aren't bad really - just pushing it by using the TV for a monitor 10 feet away. The price to pay for the convenience of flicking between Xbox, TV and PC...

Is there a way to change colours on OOF? How do you do that?

Wouldn't ask the admins to change the background just because the TV is too far away from my face.
ClearType really made a good difference for me, hence the original post. And I will continue to save for a bigger TV. 27" is way small these days... Marks DTM has 50"!!!! :y
Thanks guys.
