Post by: bappy on 30 September 2008, 13:17:29
Hi Guys,

Looking to upgrade my suspension.

I want a 40mm drop on front and back and stiffer shocks.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/StylingTec-Suspension-Kit-Vauxhall-Omega-B-40-00-50-40_W0QQitemZ120288495615QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item120288495615&_trkparms=72%3A1299%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

this look any good?

or does anyone have any knocking about they want to flog?

I'm running an MV6 manual saloon

Now you come to mention it, i have an FK coilover kit and/ or a set of Pi springs on standard shocks that i'm sure we could do a deal on  :)

Oh and the reason i have these is because i got the Pi ones, was going to fit, then the coil over kit came up and got that instead, but hour later a brand new set of Irmscher springs came up at a stupidly cheap price, so i got those, and fitted them as that what i wanted in the first place  ;D

price not to bad but -40/40 or -40/50 is bit to drop mutch down for omega
best is -30/30
I had before on mine - 40/50 was problem with cumber
now I have PI springs - 30/30 and is ok

Camber shouldn't be a problem as I have an open ticket with WIM to redo my camber.

reason I say 40mm is because my insurer wont allow 50mm.

FK are a German aftermarket bits company.

Drop is 40 to 60mm, obviously its adjustable because its a coil over kit  :)

 FK Coilover web page  (http://www.fk-automotive.de/websale7/FK-Highsport-coilover-suspension-fit-for.htm?Ctx=%7bver%2f7%2fver%7d%7bst%2f3eb%2fst%7d%7bcmd%2f0%2fcmd%7d%7bm%2fwebsale%2fm%7d%7bs%2ffk%2dautomotive%2fs%7d%7bl%2fEnglish%2fl%7d%7bmi%2f1%2d2834%2fmi%7d%7bpi%2f1000363%2fpi%7d%7btype%2fdetail%2ftype%7d%7bpo%2f1%2fpo%7d%7bsf%2f%3cs2%3e1%2d2823%3c%2fs2%3e%3cs11%3eOpel%3c%2fs11%3e%3cs12%3eOmega%20B%3c%2fs12%3e%2fsf%7d%7bp1%2f7f9b43d939da53d25b4d3b39fb7de503%2fp1%7d%7bmd5%2fb782deaa7b1b7d7e057b9a9a0c5d0f5a%2fmd5%7d)

Obviously being 2nd hand i would be looking for considerably less than the 850 Euros plus delivery they want!!!  ;D
