Post by: Richie London on 01 October 2008, 19:58:26
driving along this morning at 30mph behind a rover 75, as we approached the camera the other driver (i wont say what sex she was)slammed on the brakes and nearly caused a pile up. what the break is wrong with people. is this called being careful or a total prattt,  >:( >:(

They now have right of way if they are indicating as they pull out. Came in a couple of years ago.

i know they have but they usually indicate as they pull out, very dangerously too.

right of way is not something you take, its something you give

although the law states you must hold back to let a bus out, it unfortunately doesnt stop the inconsiderate f***ers pull out in front of you when it clearly isnt safe for them to do so. i say "them" but i suppose its the car thats gonna suffer!

I had a bus drive straight out in front of me (from my left) at the infamous greenstead roundabout in colchester yesterday.Gave him a toot on the horn,he looked at me , laughed and give me the pig wave in response.I think I will recognise him next time I see him though. ;) >:( >:(

Wait at the bus stop, flag him down, but don't get on & do this for a number of times. That'll get right up his chuff :y

So is that actually law?  I was under the impression it was part of the highway code, which isn't necessarily 'law' as some of it was there as 'guidelines'.
