Title: The Tudors (BBC2)
Post by: STMO123 on 03 October 2008, 21:43:40
Ann Boleyn is about to be decapitated and has been given a bag containing £20 to pay her executioner. Wife says "Fancy having to pay the man who chops your head off". I said " You have to pay the vicar when you get married......"   Silence. :-X

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D :y  Yes marriage is the end in a funny way! ;)

As for the £20, it was of course to pay for the best swordsman ( a Frenchman in this case I believe) to do the job and ensure the cut was swift and clean. 8-) 8-) 8-)

It did not always work out like that!! ::) ::) ::)
