i just cannot get excited about it, all the cards, tv adverts, ect all show snow filled hills and roads, snowmen, cold winter scenes.

Its never like that! Its just wet & windy...

Only good thing about it is the 2 weeks off work.

When I was younger and single I used to think like that, so rather than moan about it I used to go and help out in various Kitchens that were set up to feed people, used to love serving the old folk, mind had to bite my tonge a few times. ::) ::) ::)

I would then enjoy New Years Eve, even when I was in Hertfordshire. :y

Christmas is for kids and when you have them it is much more fun. ;D ;D ;D

Chrimbo's ok. Enjoyed it as a kid, then as a dad & still enjoy the break now but not into mince pies, roast turkey, the pudding or the cake.
If it was that good you'd eat it more than once a year. ::) ;D
