Title: Should Some Admin Play With Techie Stuff?
Post by: JueV6 on 05 October 2008, 10:45:29
After Mike Dundee's run in with a Post count doctor, I was wondering if said doctor(s) should be allowed to play with the technical stuff involved with the forum. I mean What would happen to MY post count if the said doctor(s) fingers played with superglue and then tried posting here. ;D ;D ;D

I'm sure that they are old enough to know that one-handed surfing with superglue is a BAD IDEA.  :o ;D ;D

I suppose you'll all think this is funny, especially as I hadn't got any.

Made myself a nice backing plate for my OOF car badge.

Superglued the badge to the backing plate.

Didn't realise the tube had got a split in it until I couldn't get my fingers apart.

Panic! Plunged my hands into very hot water, and with a scrubbing brush, coupled with great pain, managed to ease them apart without tearing the skin off my fingers.

Moral, next time I buy any superglue, I must remember to buy some solvent with it!

Well i'm not so sure

Admins have to play with thr techie stuff. Or the forum wouldn't work.

My NO vote was specifically for post counts.

Just in case, 691

i voted yes but under supervision due to the fact that admins have to sometimes mess about with techie stuff buuuut... if its for example a less experienced/ not used to changing things or maybe a newbie admin then they should be supervised until it's deemed that can "play" about with things and not make a mess/ or if they do then they can rectify the problem (90 posts- for my own benefit) only three people have voted (maybe there'll be a vote doctor) :P lmao!
