Now i know what to look for and i know the car ( the mv6 marque)
I am seriously contemplating this for her indoors ( estate with room power and towbar)
Has anyone seen this listed before, any one any dealings with seller or any other objective points to make.
As i cant view i would need to buy on spec and reputation and nip down to pick it up.
Whats our thoughts on a good price as i am in no rush to buy i wont pay going rate ;D
cheers
Mark

I have certainly seen this and the red saloon up for sale once or twice previously. Sticks in my mind as both are the same shade and piccys taken at the same road! Cannot recall what price it (failed) to make though.
Seller is obviously a trader and he doesn't hide it. A quick squint through his feedback and what he's sold/price paid adds up OK.
Car itself looks not too bad. Overspray on the ROS door shut rubber? Got the 'phone radio, no mention of the belt/tensioners, missing washer jets. Panels look OK. Tyres - make, tread depth and wear etc? You know the script.
Probably worth a punt but, as always, your eye is your merchant and only spend what you can afford to loose....

3rd time on ebay
Mrs and Father in law both slightly tempted after seeing mine.
last 2 times didnt sell
didnt meet reserve 1st time
2nd was buy it now only
also been on autotrader for £2500
but it will sell for whatever the highest bid is this time.
-
thanks folks - yep i know the script :y but a second eye or 500 always helps :y
Undecided yet but sure wont be paying £2500 or anything near that ( i did catch it in autotrader too)
its the silly season and i want it as a bargain price only ;)
-
Tis already more than I payed for mine
hehehe
or should that be
hohoho

Tidy lookin car m8 but the headlight washer jets missing :-/

On face value it looks a tidy motor, but tyre kicking in person can't be beaten. Maybe someone on here who lives a little closer may be able to see it for you, I'm a little far out especially this time of year in the catering trade.

your right about viewing in person - problem is for sale at resonable price and resonable spec omegas are rare in Scotland :o
but if anyone is on the doorstep of this one above or the other one i am watching below.... :y ;)

Just spoken to the seller Markie. His name is Marcus and I have bought from him before (honda legend coupe). He is a genuine guy and assures me the car is spot on. I know he values his reputation.
On the down side, he is waiting on someone coming to see it tonight and reckons the guy is pretty keen.
Good luck mate.

If you want my advice Markie, unless you are 100% sure, sleep on it. Things always look different in the cold light of day :y

Omegas can be like a bus if you miss one ther'll be another one along in a few minutes :y
-
Didn't the missus buy a Rover Turbo last week for the horses? How many do you need? :-X
-
Nooooo i bought that on her ebay id :y it was used to transport two horses quickly ( has towbar) I am breaking that one as we speak - it cost me £200 quid and had 2 weeks mot at the time. Its now out of mot and frankly needs too much done. But that was the plan for the TI anyway.
She needs to ideally replace her 99 safrane 2,5 rxe with a similar powered car but with towbar and big boot for longer term solution, hence the omegas fit nicley into that ;)
-
Its still well cheap Mark, but thats one helluva journey to pick it up :-/

You're joking right?!?!?! I went to Thatcham in Berkshire for mine!!
BTW, that's a good looking CDX Markie, Carlisle's only an hour away from you tops!! I'd get down there pronto, 'cxos you're right, good meega's don't come round too often. It took me months to find the wifes one!!

True big rod ...and ideally the cdx is mch better for her.....watching with intrest... :y
