is it just me or has this country lost the plot i think i should give up work and sit on my arse all day and let the state pay for it all mind u im not a from another country

i was badly injured a few years ago and was on the sick for 8 months, at £45 a week
I questioned how my sister, 21 at the time, who has never worked a day in life could get £98 a week for sitting on her arse...
The blunt and off the recorded comment was,
"You'll go back to work sooner on less money than if we made it easy for you, your sister is a waster and never will, so she will need to be carried for life - if we make it too hard she'll slip off the radar and into God knows what"

I have been unemployed so used the system but have paid back many fold

Well, to start with you'd have to prove that you didn't make yourself homeless on purpose. Huh, I mean - coming all the way from Afghanistan isn't 'on purpose'. Nah, force them to work their buts off until they can support themselves, if they don't like it then kick em out. I bet they've paid no local or central taxes and don't contribute in any way. >:( >:( :( :( Like you say "rant over" :-[ :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X

well the dirty stinking pissshead below me gets 35 quid a week extra than everyone else as hes a registered alcoholic. and his rent and rates paid. ive seen him a few times laying in the rd or on the grass, im hoping to drive over his head one day by mistake ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well, its like I said earlier. European Bill of Human Rights!!! This was by the way brought in by the Labour Government who 'suck up' to to all that EU stuff. We voted for a 'common market' since then we (the people) have voted for nothing. The politicians are responsible, these migrants [or whatever] are just working the system, and boy, do they know how to. :( :( :( >:( >:( >:( >:( :( :( :(

Ironically enough it is us tax-payers who will have to bail the banks out too.
That pi$$es me off just as much. I am completely in the black and have no credit racked up anywhere, not even a bloody mortgage. Why shold I have to pay out becasue everyone else (businesses included) have borrowed too much for the country's (worlds) economy to cope with?

politicians are largely to blame for that as well,the city boy and girls for the most part are a soft and convenient fall guy and the media have obligingly joined the bandwagon instead of investigating like they used to. ;)

im unemployed at the moment but i get nothing because ive got savings, so im penalised for being careful with my money, meanwhile the influx of various nationalities are getting jobs with no checkable C,V`s or qualifications & i get it in the ear from the jobcentre for not looking hard enough[though i have] even though they pay me nothing, does anybody know where i can get a foreign passport so i can be treated fairly in my own country????

You don't think it's due to the fact that the people in question are from an ethnic background do you? I mean to say, we wouldn't want to upset them would we? Any ordinary family wouldn't have a chance as they can't complain loud enough >:(

Last year, the BBC broadcast a program called 'Weekend Nazis' which purported to show that most of the people who attended the War and Peace Show in Kent are racist! There are German WW2 re-enactors there who dress up for the part and were heckled by the reporter for doing so. Well, ok, you could say that they are a bit strange but isn't it a free country? For now?
The funniest part of the program was when they did some secret filming in the beer tent where some naughty men were heard to be running down, shall we say, foreigners. Have you been in the average pub on a Friday or Saturday evening anywhere in the country and listened to the converstions? Everybody's sick of this kind of carrying on so are we all racists? Perhaps the powers that be should wake up to public opinion?

Unfortunately the vocal few spoil it for the rest of the quite genuine hardworking immigrants. Up are way, we see a lot of Polish and Russians and they are hard working, polite and do everything above board. You can't fault them, apart from pinching somebody's job but then they'll do the jobs that we in this country don't want to do so you can't knock them for that! I don't know where it'll all end...
