The barge passed it's MOT on the second try today - failed on 1 tyre that was just too close to the limit on the inner edge (rear) for the man, and - the oddest failure point i've ever had - the wrong type of filler cap!
Apparently one of those green push in types is not acceptable, must be a locking type.
6 minutes in the tyre depot saw new rubber fitted to that corner, and a quick visit to the Vauxhall breaker in town (All-Vaux) got me a filler cap for £3.
Still got the exhaust manifold gasket to do sometime, but it's not terrible yet and they didn't notice it :)

Nice one mate. You can't complain with that result :y

I was half expecting wishbones and tired front shocks

Nice one .. another Miggy returns to the world of legality .. :)

Nice result ...always good news when they pass. :y

Good news indeed ;)
The fuel cap has been a failure point for years, so dont feel bad about it.

Great to hear of another pass --- the first fail didn't count, being for minor irritations rather than faults :y

Well the old girl is good for another year by which time she will have done around 150k, although if SWMBO get's her boss's job when he retires sometime next year, that comes with a car, so i'll get the Galaxy and it'll be bye bye V6 time :'(
