Title: it's a girl

just got back from hospital. baby was born at 17:17hrs weighing in at 8lb 1oz. beautiful baby girl. both mum and baby doing fine but being kept in over night just in case. must admit it was best feeling ever being the first peron to hold my baby daughter and i was the first person she saw when she eventualy opened her bright blue eyes.

I remember the day my daughter was born, after 14 hours in hospital, and my first night, was up at 3.00am and went to sleep on the settee with daughter held to my chest, so tiny. She is 8 now and when I remind her she simply says, with eyes raised, you have said that a thousand times daddy. ::) ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D

She is still not getting a Wii of Santa, and there lies a whole new problem to resolve, cos she still thinks what she asks for she gets ::) problem is she has, but line drawn at Wii :)

Many congrats to the baby, your wife and of course you !.

As has been said its all uphill from now on, the nappy phase, the midnight feed phase, the going to bed at a reasonable time phase, the vetting of friends phase, the finding a suitable school phase, the "is she really going out with him phase", the "she's getting married, how much will that cost " phase (as in buying a Rolls, if you have to ask you can't afford it !), then your a grandad phase, then..............

Its a great adventure, hope you and your family enjoy it!  :y :y :y
