Filled up in Hedge End for £1.07 then drove up to Bucks. Didn't see less than £1.12 up there.

But that's the point, it's not superb. The price per barrel of oil is now at at pre £1 per litre prices and the greedy oil companies know that the public are now used to paying well over £1 a litre so by dropping it to just above £1 the public have been lulled into thinking that it's nice and cheap again......but it's not!! I'd be very surprised if they dropped it below the £1 mark again. :-/

The shell that i allways go to have unleaded at 102 and V power at 109 so getting there . They are now cheaper that the supermarkets around here :-? :-?.

What poxes me off is, we are only about 15 miles away from Shell Stanlow oil refinery, so transportation cost would be much less than alot of other places >:(

better still why no pop down there and ask of you can fill up......zero transport cost then :y

I get better mileage out of shell's and tesco's super :y
Shell's stuff also make it feel more sprightly :)
Trying to keep all my mileage to my diesel at the moment though :-/

According to BBC radio news Asda & Morrisons are selling at 99.9 p/litre
