My grandchildren live in Los Angeles and have a full on San Fernando Valley accent interspersed with odd 'Northern English' vowel sounds picked up from my daughter!It sounds weird.

I pity my poor lad. I'm a scouser, the wifes a geordie, we live in yorkshire and he's bombarded all day with @merican kids shows. ...I mean programmes.

Both program and programme are valid english. Correct spelling is programme, but computers still run programs....
