Took the breaker and weighed it in

No Engine
No G/Box
No Interior
No Wheels
No Rear Dampers (Self Leveling)
No compressor
A Few other small bits gone too

Thats bl00*y peanuts, I got £78 for my metro and that weighed less than a fag packet

Price of steel has crashed big time, took a huge old transformer which we stripped and it was clean, got a fortune for the copper (nearly £3k) but the steel was not worth taking in.

scrap steel and iron was £150 / t a month ago now down to less than £50 my boss runs 2 scrap trucks only one running on it atm more money on containers atm.... the ressecion is biting  :( :( :(

Oh yes, we will soon be back to having scrap cars dumped on the streets again.
