Hi,
I have just helped a mate out & bought his 98 S-Reg 2.5TD Manual Sallon GLS in light blue off him. I don't need this & will sell it for £650 cash, it's what I paid & just want to sell it.
It was put on SORN yesterday!

It's covered 159k miles and has just got a new MOT (21/09/08), has 2 new front tyres, need rears very soon. I have driven it last night & all seems fine, brakes seem a bit "wooley" though but has been standing a month nearly. Drivers door is corroded badly at the bottom.

Digital display has some digits missing?

Interior is in VGC.

Greenhous Main Dealer Full Service History printout to 109k miles & I beleive book is stamped for the rest at local garage, have not checked it yet.

1 Previous owner.

I'm in West Midlands if your interested.

Please call me on 07500 885465.

Thanks, Rob.

Thats a snip Pete, looks good, big cars are really cheap at the moment. I will soon have my ar*e back in an Omega and the MPG won't matter, I start my new job on Nov 4th and get a company car. Only problem is I can't take it abroad,( holidays ) so I am going to have another Mig for summer use, restricted mileage insurance and probably SORN'ed for 6 months of the year so it won't be a monster to run. Keeping the Rover a couple of months until I find out what the job is really like then serious Mig hunting if the job is OK and the Rover TD sells.

I paid £330 for a N-Reg 3.0 Elite with 3months tax and 9mths test about a year ago.
Wasn't in as good a nick as Pete's, no Sat-nav etc. Only problems were the heater vacuums were in a fooking mess, MID was shot, (what pixels did remain kept flashing Oil Lack warning, when level was fine), and well, i've never seen a car with the oil so deep in the wells :o
