What a pig of a job, very sore as well.
DOne the drivers side - now I have to do the passenger side, which looks horrible to do.
ANyway watching TV and I'll be back later and going to take some Ibuprofen

All the very best Martin, as I am afraid to say you have get the worst side left to do! :'(
My advice is you tie all cables and pipes that you cannot remove up out of the way. That is the only way that I believe you can get the cover back on without disturbing the gaskets you have so carefully placed into position! :o ;)

OK watched Merlin - a bit of fun, anyway not too bad now, the back has survived, but dreading the passenger bank, last time I went there I broke the cable tray!
Also dreading my back conking out halfway through!

I messed up a fleece supporting myself to avoid straining the back, bonnet is still up a bit as plenum is too wired to car and inlet manifold has too many cables to undo.
Just hope the cabling goes back easily when I refit as the last time I had the plenum off was to fit the cables causing the issue now (cut injectors)
Managed to use a piece of wood to fill in the gap between bonnet and alarm switch so if it gets lifted I will know.

Finished the passenger side around 10:30, just got the plenum refitted and no misfires so everything reconnected.
Just got to do the scuttle panel and wipers.
The sealant on the passenger bank will have until 14:00 to harden enough as I need to use the car!

Taken a long time as every half hour take a 10 minute break for back resting

Go and have a lovely hot, steamy bubble bath and allow it all to soak away Martin in celebration of finishing yet another miggy job! :D :D ;)

Take that multi-ram shiz out and stand in there.
Im a tall lanky break with cronic back problems.
Doing the above saves me the couple of days worth of icepacks, that would often otherwise ensue.

I wouldn't fit - also have an undertray to remove!

Try jacking the car up just enough so that you don't have to lean down so much but can still reach the rear of the engine.
