Due to shutdown of part of the company I've had to get involved moving a 1000t stamping press 2 miles up the road.
poured about 500t of concrete into the foundation.
This is in the old site.

This is the top section, about 80 tonnes going into the roof of the new location.

Its the only press in Europe that can make Electric rotor and stator lamiantions for a Canadian railway company.
The press has to be up and running again around the 15 Jan 07, or the fan will need cleaning ::)

That was the top, the bottom part weighed in at 70t, the slide (up and down bit) is about 40t the bed 18t, so there's a bit of steel in it.

You wouldn't want to finish putting that back together only to find some idiot has put it too close to the wall so it can't be serviced.
